OUR STORY

After moving to the United States from Italy in 1958 in search of the American Dream, Frank and Filomena Maratta started Frank’s Tailor Shop on Park Road, West Hartford in 1967 providing quality clothing alterations and services.

 

For 23 years Frank and Filomena owned Frank’s Tailor Shop building connections with their customers and helping people fit into their favorite clothes. After apprenticing under his own mother and father as well as Frank and Filomena, their son-in-law Piero Petraccone took over the family business in 1990. Piero has been running the business strong ever since.

 

While the tailor shop has always been in West Hartford, Piero has recently moved it to 8 Crossroads Plaza in Bishops Corner in search of a more convenient location for his much valued customers.
